We will explore the sights and sounds of the big city of Boston, the quaintness of Portland, Maine, our city's namesake, as well as enjoy a fabulous journey through several Canadian towns and villages along the St. Lawrence, ending in historic Quebec City. Drawing the Still Life for Beginners One-Day Workshop
The skeleton for all art begins with drawing. In this one-day course, I will take you step-by-step in learning the fundamentals of drawing and still life. We will cover: line, shape, form/values, texture, perspective and measurement. Bring a sketchbook*; all other supplies are provided, including lunch.

Drawing Birds One-Day Workshop
Here’s an introductory course to sketching birds from skeleton to feather. We’ll cover many different birds, using pencil, ink and watercolor wash. Bring a sketchbook* with you to class. All other supplies, including lunch, provided.

Journaling is a great way to relieve stress and express yourself. Discover your inner self through words, painting, drawing as well as other art materials and found pieces. Bring heavy-duty sketchbook, like Strathmore® Visual Journal. All other materials supplied, including lunch.

Watercolor Travel Sketching One-Day Workshop
Take a journey with your sketchbook by capturing streets scenes, people and landscapes. Best of all, you’ll learn to draw and paint quickly, using pencil, pen and watercolor washes. Bring sketchbook* (; all other supplies provided along with lunch.

Drawing Cats One-Day Workshop
Learn the basics to drawing the beloved cat. We’ll cover everything from understanding anatomy to representing fur, while working in pencil, pen and watercolor wash. Bring a sketchbook*; all other supplies provided.
*Recommended sketchbooks: Strathmore® Visual Journal/Mixed Media because it is 90# and 100% cotton. Another choice is Pentallic’s Nature Sketch because it is 130# and 25% cotton. For travel, I recommend Moleskine® Watercolor Album Sketchbook. Size depends on you but in class no more than 11 x 14.
